Samuel Huntington – Clash of Civilizations

Huntington claims that the world political order following the Cold War will arrange on cultural lines. Conflicts will occur on cultural fault lines between civilizations. Furthermore, some countries may be divided in and of themselves between civilizations, resulting in civil wars – “torn countries.” A good example of this torn country phenomenon would be the current conflict in the Central African Republic.
